WMR’s “2016 EDM Project”
Over two years ago, during the time period when we were predominately working on our Digital Reality album, Jacob and I decided to begin working on our first EDM track as a “sub-project” to Digital Reality. This was such a success, that it begged the question: “Why stop here?”. Since then, it’s been a constant adventure creating a large variety of EDM styles, including Trap, House, Dubstep, Trance, Chillstep, and countless other genres in the EDM family that we have been unable to produce publicly. After the release of Digital Reality on October of 2015, Jacob and I had an idea. This idea was the spark of a new chapter in WMR music, which we are honored to now share with you:
On January 1st this year, the “2016 EDM Project” initiative was launched by WMR Studios (us). The 2016 EDM Project (aka the “2016EDMP”) will introduce a lineup of Electronic EPs scheduled to be released worldwide throughout the year. Our first EP, Cosmiconic (released March 31st), introduced our audiences (you) to the commission of this immense project, and is now available everywhere! But as you’ve probably guessed, our Cosmiconic EP is just the beginning! The following is a schedule we’ve created for our upcoming EPs enveloped in the “2016 EDM project”:
Cosmiconic (“2016EDMP”part 1): released March 31st (now available everywhere)
Unannounced release (“2016EDMP” part 2): to be released in June
Unannounced release (“2016EDMP” part 3): to be released in September
Unannounced release (“2016EDMP” part 4): to be released in December
Approximately every three months, WMR will be releasing a new EP featuring a different genre of Electronic Dance Music. By the conclusion of 2016, we will have covered House, Dubstep, Trap, and Trance. These tracks will be made available on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Soundcloud, and more! So, without further adieu, as an official member of the WMR studios team, I bid the “2016 EDM project” finally commence!
